Zangilan Town Day marked with pilaf festival in town centre

A large-scale festival is being held in the town centre on October 20 to mark Zangilan Town Day. The event draws attention with a high-spirited atmosphere, a rich programme and a large number of participants.

The festive atmosphere on the festival grounds reflects the town's revival, the joy of returning to the homeland and faith in the future. Media representatives were also invited to events held to mark Town Day. Pilaf festival and holiday programme

One of the most notable parts of the holiday programme is the Pilaf festival. Various types of pilaf typical of the Zangilan region are prepared at the festival. The prepared pilaf is distributed among participants and locals.

The Pilaf festival is not only a culinary event but also a representation of national culture, hospitality and traditions of unity. People gathered around the pilaf cauldron take part in national culinary traditions and share the holiday joy together.

It should be recalled that the town of Zangilan was liberated from occupation by the Azerbaijani Army on October 20, 2020.
