People's Artist of Azerbaijan Alexander Yakovlevich Sharovsky has passed away at the age of 76. The information regarding the death of the director and actor was confirmed by the First Vice-President of Azerbaijan, Mehriban Aliyeva.
In her official statement on social media, Mehriban Aliyeva expressed her grief over the loss, referring to Alexander Sharovsky as a "great Ustad" (Master) and wishing him peace.
Alexander Sharovsky was born in February 1948. Throughout his creative career, he made a significant contribution to the development of Azerbaijani theatrical art, working as both a director and an actor.
